Greenlam PB line produce first panel
The new particleboard plant in India marks an important step in the expansion of Greenlam’s wood-based panel division.
Greenlam South Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Greenlam Industries Ltd, has successfully produced the first particleboard panel at its new high-end particleboard manufacturing plant.
This milestone was achieved also thanks to the complete wood preparation and chipping line designed and supplied by Globus Srl, a leading Italian manufacturer of wood size-reduction technology for the panel industry.
Globus engineering team developed a customized chipping line that includes vibrating conveyors, belt conveyors, and the powerful MTG 60.125L-10R+1 Drum Chipper, ensuring continuous and efficient log feeding.
In addition, the supply package featured a Knife Ring Flaker and a Centrifugal Mill, both specifically designed for wood size reduction and optimized to produce high-quality core and surface flakes required for premium particleboard production.
