CSC – Cam Cleaner

CSC Cam Cleaner by Globus Srl is an industrial log cleaning system designed to remove bark, dirt, and impurities from large-diameter logs before the chipping or stranding stage.
This heavy-duty cam cleaner features a unique cam-shaped section that not only removes surface material but also makes logs bounce during rotation, ensuring a continuous and homogeneous feeding process toward downstream equipment.

Thanks to its modular structure and the possibility of integrating independent motors, the CSC Cam Cleaner allows adjustable working speeds based on process requirements.
This flexibility improves material movement, reduces mechanical wear, and increases efficiency throughout the production line.

CSC is particularly suitable for OSB, particleboard, and biomass applications, where bark-free logs guarantee consistent strand quality and reduce tool wear.
It can be installed upstream of SRG Ring Strander or SDG Disc Strander units, forming a complete wood preparation system for strand production.

For even greater cleaning capacity, CSC and RDG units can operate in the same line, maximizing cleaning efficiency and improving material feeding performance.
The combination of both systems provides cleaner logs, reduced maintenance, and longer lifespan for downstream cutting equipment.

Built for durability, the CSC Cam Cleaner uses a steel star-shaft cam design, wear-resistant components, and easy-access inspection doors to simplify servicing.
